Brandwatch 3.9  | Released end of March 2009

Brandwatch 3.8 | Released Dec 2008
"Users can now create their own Brands and their own Trends"

  • All graphs have a 'smoothing' option, which helps identify interesting data points
  • For each web page where your brand is mentioned, we now highlight the words which match your brand
  • More performance enhancements make the interface even more responsive

On the Crawler side:

  • Brandwatch now covers Twitter, Facebook, Bebo, YouTube (and other video sites), TripAdvisor and Amazon reviews
  • New smart logic identifies the date of pages, so that mentions are timestamped accurately
  • Classifiers have been added for many new Brand industries
  • Behind the scenes enhancements have further increased the Crawler's coverage

Also, Brandwatch is now going multilingual - with Brazilian Portuguese our first supported foreign language. We have also released a simple API which lets you integrate Brandwatch with your own systems, and we have started work on a brand new reporting framework - more to be released about this soon.

  • Data Export: enabling users to download Brandwatch raw data, for offline processing
  • Users can rename, edit and delete Trends
  • Users can edit their brand subscriptions
  • Graphs are more interactive- popups on data points 
  • We use more advanced logic for brand matching

  • 'Onebrand' screen with its key indicators (number of mentions, overall sentiment), headlines from the previous day, biggest and fastest growing topics, and top domains
  • Topics are automatically identified from recent mentions, users can drill down to each topic's actual mentions
  • Archive extended to 6 months
  • Markup tool for resellers to give feedback on accuracy of data which has helped improve and train the classifiers
