Brands are not the only entities found in online content that Brandwatch tracks. The system also identifies snippets of information - mentions of topics, people, organisations and locations.
Brandwatch finds as much relevant information as possible connected to the brands and keywords we track.
By finding interesting phrases and topical discussion threads we give our users another route for navigating the high volume of data we collect.
Furthermore, we identify what things people refer to in their discussions: other people, names of places, and names of organisations... In linguistic terms, these are called "named entities".
By finding and highlighting this rich information, Brandwatch enables a brand advisor or owner to quickly identify and track emerging new issues related to their brand.
